Who is this Program For?
This program is open to everyone in all experience levels.
Why Field Hockey?
Field hockey is an Olympic sport with global participation and a well-established club tournament structure across the U.S. For girls in particular, there are scholarship opportunities at the collegiate level, including NCAA Division I, II, and III programs who are always looking to fill rosters.
Since field hockey is not yet widely offered in Arizona schools, this program fills that gap by giving young athletes access to a sport with real pathways for growth.
For adults, it’s an exciting way to exercise, meet new people and try new things! It can even become a great way to spend time with your own children on the field.
What Happens at Our Practice Sessions?
Practices are led by experienced coaches who know how to keep players engaged while building useful skills in our sport. Sessions are adapted for different ages and skill levels so everyone stays active and has tons of fun, while others may get more game-like play and challenges.
Each session runs about 90 minutes and follows a consistent structure:
- A warm-up and fitness routine to get everyone moving (10–15 minutes)
- Skill-based drills focused on individual improvement (30–40 minutes)
- Scrimmages or small-sided games that give players a chance to apply what they’ve learned (30–45 minutes)
- A cool-down and team huddle to wrap things up (5 minutes)
Shared Beliefs
We believe in courtesy & inclusion above all else – nobody will ever be turned away from our club and beloved sport on the basis of skill, age, sex, religion or financial standing. Those who treat others as they would like to be treated will always be welcome here.
